I add notes to these all day long and just erase when done. I have several of them throughout the house. The only problem I have is they do not erase well even using the pens provided. I have had to resort to using a white board liquid cleaner spray frequently to be able to keep the pages clean.I bought the small size and it’s the size of my hand! Perfectly portable, I’ve written on the transparent and solid opaque pages and it easily erases on both. I’ve closed it up and everything Ive written stayed without getting smudged or rubbed off. It’s GREAT!Initially I thought, what am I going to need a portable whiteboard for? I have 4 NewYes notebooks and I am quite happy with them. I even sacrificed a page in one of the notebooks for customer color selections for our houses.Wait a minute . . . sacrificed a page. :Guess what?! With the whiteboard notebook I don't have to do that! Check it out. The whiteboard notebook has transparent pages that overlay the whiteboard pages. This has potential for many applications but what I did was print out my color selection page and paperclipped it to the whiteboard page. Then I put the transparent page on top of that. Voila! I have a neat and organized color worksheet I can write on, erase, write on, erase, rinse and repeat!I'm thinking this would be nifty for testing oneself or teaching kiddos whatever you want to teach them. Multiplication tables? Write the problem out on the whiteboard, lay the transparent page on top and let the student write in the answer. Fill in the blank tests. Sign in sheets. Medical forms. So much paper to be saved! I'm even thinking I could put paint samples on a piece of paper and place that beneath a transparent page, then write on the sample what goes where. My only beef is with the transparency page's cleanliness. There Is a haze left behind by the dry erase marker; however, a little water and a microfiber cloth so far has fixed that issue. The eraser on the marker seems to smear the ink instead of erasing it. I suspect this is because the ink is transferring to the eraser whereas with a microfiber cloth there's more clean surface to work with. I've been scrubbing really hard today to get last week's writing off of the transparency and it's not going well (see picture). I'm sure there's a trick to it - the cloth may be too soft. The whiteboard page is great for my crochet notes and schematics. With a microfiber cloth it erases easily so I can make corrections to the drawings or change numbers. One advantage it has over the smart notebooks is that water is not going to instantly erase the writing. That's key if you keep drinks near your notebook. For the price, especially, I'm happy with this notebook.I accumulate used grocery lists in my purse. Every time I shop, I put the list in my purse while I check out and forget about it. I end up finding it later after a few more have joined it. I hate the clutter and the waste of paper. I tried keeping a list in my phone but haven’t liked it-it’s just not the same as marking something off when I get it and I always end up forgetting something. Plus, my husband adds things to the list and if there isn’t one on the kitchen counter, he’ll go get a piece of paper and start one despite my reminders that it is in my phone or to tell Alexa, then I’m back to the paper problem again. I found this small dry erase notebook and it solves all of my problems. There is a physical list so my husband has something to write on and I’m able to do better than scratch something off the list when I put it in the cart- I can erase it! That way, I can’t help but see if I’ve missed something. Best of all, no paper in my purse! I just carry the notebook to the store and put it back on the counter when I get home. And it saves some trees in the process- what can be better than that?Love this, I use it everyday!Got this because I used a lot of paper researching for my job. I just need to jot stuff down while I research different systems then I can wipe the info off my notebook and don’t have to shred another piece of paper. Did get some wet erase pens for when I take notes at a meeting but use the dry erase pens that came with this when I don’t need the info for long.I had scraps of paper all over the place, especially for things with a limited life span (the information wasn't needed after a while). This has helped me keep my counter clean while having all of these notes in one place. It works great for me.I really like this dry erase notebook. It's nothing fancy, but it doesn't need to be. I use it to take notes for students in the classroom. I even used it when trying to teach some kids how to draw Pikachu. I also use it on game night with our friends. It's great for keeping scores. No paper waste. Cleaning is fairly easy. You do need to use a bit of "elbow grease" but it does come clean. It also keeps what I wrote without smearing, but you need to wait a minute for the ink to dry of course.I love it! Our friends liked it so much they got one to.
